Up to 41% of the population has reported symptoms of anxiety as of February 2021 according to the CDC. It is not uncommon and should not be a source of embarrassment or shame. Symptoms may include feeling nervous, restless or tense or having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom. Although many symptoms can be controlled through medications, counseling may provide an opportunity to address anxiety using therapeutic techniques.
